The INaturalist app is a tool I'm using for an outdoor learning experience (and integrate technology). The students will observe organisms in the school yard and submit it to the INaturalist app. Others will review the data to see what type of organisms are in our local ecosystem. We will use the data to classify organisms: producers, consumers, decomposers (5.L.2.2).

Help support the Holly Grove Elementary PTA Annual Coat Drive!
Right now, millions of Americans - 1 in every 6 people -are struggling to meet their most basic needs. The Salvation Army of Wake County’s Coat Distribution Program strives to ensure that every child in Wake County has a coat to keep them warm, so that they do not have to make this choice. It also serves adults who also need warm clothing during the winter months. Help us keep everyone in Wake County warm this winter season!
Needed items include new or gently-used coats, or new scarves, hats and gloves for all ages!
Drop your items off until November 1st in the bin marked COATS across from the office.
